The teachers’ apartments were dismal cells at KNUE. My friend went on a spending spree and spruced his up quickly.

Here’s how it works:

1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.

2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use a “postaday2013″ or “postaweek2013″ tag.

3. Subscribe to The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements. Sign up via the email subscription link in the sidebar or RSS.

  1. I taught in Korea it was virtually the same. I spruced my place up as well with lamps and comfort things and every time anyone would come over they would say.. “wow, your place is so big” always made me laugh.

      1. Right?!?! I went from my one room apt in Korea to a 3 bedroom apt in Venezuela.. and now I’m back in DC with a 1 bedroom and the meaning of “big” has several times with each trip I take.
