Weekly Photo Challenge Flâneur

I found this in my drafts bin. I thought I’d share though WPC is no more.

Flâneur? I know you don’t run across fancy schmancy words like flâneur which means objective observer every day. It’s a hard word because the subject could be anything. Since I live in China I feel I’m automatically flâneur because I puzzle over everything trying to figure out the culture. I’ve just shared some objectified women glasses available at a restaurant here.

1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog (a new post!) anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.

So July’s City Daily Photo theme was Look Down, which I posted for on my Beijing Daily Photo blog. So it’s weirdly coincidental that WordPress has chosen Look Up as a theme this week.

Ailsa of Where’s My Backpack? invites bloggers to post photos on a weekly theme. This week it’s “Gray” or “Grey.”
